Why 0.3.5?

In January, I was working on 0.4 content. However, the thought of adding a prologue kept growing louder in my mind. I decided not to ignore it. Besides, I’ve always felt that Profiler’s opening wasn’t engaging enough, so here we are.

For veteran players, you can choose to restart the game and play through the prologue, which will help you gain more insight into the story.

For new players, this updated introduction offers a better way to step into the world of Profiler. Welcome to this cinematic adventure!

Oh, and although the prologue isn’t very long, this update includes quite a bit of spicy animation. After all, I’ve grown tired of comments like: “Oh, Profiler has so few adult scenes. Does the developer not know how to make them?”

There’s a big difference between “I don’t know how to do it” and “I don’t want to do it.”

What’s new?

I’ve revamped Profiler’s opening by adding a brand-new prologue to enhance the story’s tension and fill in some narrative gaps that I couldn’t address properly during the early development stage.

The prologue reveals what Sherlock’s life was like before returning to Lundon and answers some lingering questions from the story (though it’ll probably raise even more questions for players, LMAO).

A new female character has also been introduced. Will she become one of the main heroines? Honestly, I don’t know, but I’m excited to see her return in the future.
